This policy explains what internetadvertisingplatforms.com does with personal data. It applies to this website only, not to the advertising platforms linked from it, each of which has its own policy.
What we collect
- Analytics data. Aggregate page views, referrers, approximate location by country and device type, collected through Google Analytics 4. Analytics storage is set to denied by default, so no analytics cookies are written unless consent is granted.
- Email correspondence. If you write to us, we keep the message and your address for as long as needed to answer and to maintain a correction record.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records IP addresses and request data for security and abuse prevention.
We do not run advertising pixels, we do not build audience profiles, we do not sell or share personal data, and we do not operate a newsletter or user accounts.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics operates under Consent Mode with advertising and analytics storage denied by default, which means measurement is modelled from cookieless pings unless you grant consent through your browser or a future consent interface. Affiliate links may set cookies on the destination platform's domain once you follow them; that processing is governed by the destination platform.
Legal basis
Where GDPR applies, aggregate analytics rely on legitimate interest in understanding which pages are useful, with storage denied by default so that no identifiers are written without consent. Correspondence is processed to answer your enquiry.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy in portable form, and you can object to processing. Residents of California and other US states with privacy statutes have equivalent rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Write to [email protected]; requests are handled within one month.
Retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Email correspondence is kept for three years, or longer where it documents a published correction.
Third parties
Google Analytics processes measurement data. Our hosting provider processes server logs. Outbound links to advertising platforms transfer nothing beyond the referrer and any campaign parameters visible in the link itself.
